Version 1 first started using the Esendex SMS service to integrate SMS functionality into systems they develop on behalf of their customers. Since then, the Esendex SMS API has been used to improve the efficiency of Version 1’s own internal IT and Personnel systems.
Version 1 first started working with Esendex after they had been contacted by one of their customers who wanted to find a way of alerting staff members if there were any problems with their critical data processing which takes place overnight. Version 1 integrated the Esendex SMS API with their customers systems so managers now automatically receive an SMS when the data processing starts and finishes, and an additional message if any problems occur. Since integrating this into their business application they are also using the service to send SMS bills to customers.
Version 1 then looked to using SMS to improve their own internal systems. They found they were using up a large amount of accounts and administrative staff time chasing up their staff members for time sheets and they immediately thought of Esendex to solve the problem. A spokesperson for Version 1 explains:

Version 1 now use the Email SMS service to send automated SMS reminders to all staff whose timesheet is overdue. Improving the timesheets system has reduced administrative costs and considerably improved company efficiency.
