Is RCS messaging possible with Vodafone?
Vodafone is the first network provider to support sending RCS messages with an Android device in the UK. This means that if you are using Vodafone’s services on an Android device, you will be the first to be able to send and receive a new type of message called Rich Communication Services (RCS) to other compatible Vodafone devices.
However, an RCS message can only be received by a compatible device. If you send an RCS message via Esendex’s Messaging Studio to a non-compatible phone, then the recipient will still receive an enhanced message in the form of an SMS landing page message.
